“I have been staying in Homewood suites in Springfield, Virginia since 6/19/2021 and my suite has not been cleaned regularly. They said on check-in that suites will be cleaned every 4 days but sometimes 10 days will go without cleaning. The first time my suite was not cleaned for an extended period of time, I made the front desk agent aware and I came back from work and the room was still not cleaned. When I spoke to her the next day, she was rude and dismissive. When this lack of cleaning continued, I complained to the general manager and he promised to look into the matter. The suite was cleaned regularly for several weeks after that and then the cleaning stopped again. One time, the cleaning room entered the suite and removed the trash but did not do anything else (i.e did not make the bed, change the linens or clean the bathroom). I went to the front desk and spoke to the staff and she said she was going to put it on the schedule for cleaning but again the room was not cleaned when I came back later in the day. I called the front desk and the general manager answered and he said he was going to send somebody and the cleaning crew came in about 1 hour to clean. Few days ago, the general manager came to the suite with IT tech and I requested that he put my room on schedule for cleaning on Monday 12/20/2021 and he said he did when I asked him the following day. I came back from work on Monday and the suite was absolutely untouched. I have been staying at this hotel for 6 months now and it looks like I have been paying a leg and an arm for a very poor service.Major concerns with the hospitality etiquette of the staff including the manager as they posted a flyer that suites will need to be entered regardless of "do not disturb sign" on the door!!!!!I need to stay in Springfield till March of 2022 because of my job so the Hilton management needs to provide the service they are being paid for or I would like a refund so I can look for a cleaner hotel. I tried submitting this complaint on the hiltons website but the submission will not go through for some reason!!!”

“Eu originalmente reservei o quarto por cerca de US $ 120 / noite. Confirmado e uma cobrança temporária foi colocada em meu cartão. Após a minha estadia de 6 noites, o custo total foi de $ 1461,51. O gerente do hotel admitiu que aumentou a tarifa devido à ocupação, sem me avisar.Depois de mais de uma hora no telefone com Hilton, não há uma resolução.Durante minha estada, a arrumadeira entrou em meu quarto sem bater ou se anunciar. Havia uma placa de Não perturbe NA PORTA. Eu estava indisposto e acabei de ouvir as cortinas se abrindo. Anunciei minha presença e a governanta saiu. Quando voltei naquela tarde, as cortinas foram abertas novamente, mas o quarto não tinha sido reparado. Então, eles entraram em meu quarto novamente com a placa de Não perturbe na porta. Ofereceram-me uma Coca-Cola de 16 onças como compensação.Viajante, cuidado. Existem vários outros hotéis nas imediações, a uma curta caminhada. Eu recomendo escolher um desses.”
