Nos pareció increíble la atención de Kenny al inicio al ubicarnos en la mesa. La atención de Margarita espectacular. Súper buena persona alegre y excelente recomendaciones. Y Jesús muy cortes y amable con su atención. En general muy buen servicio tanto con la comida como el personal.

Our server Jesus was great.We made reservations at 1621 for a formal dinner on our last night only to arrive and be told it was shut down and we could eat in the garden.Very very disappointing to have spent our last night with a pizza and pasta when we had planned on a very special dinner.The hotel should have told us 1621 was closed at the time we made our reservation.

La atención es inmejorable, las instalaciones impecables .Personas cómo jorge , nuestro mesero de hoy tan bueno, impecable y con tan bien servicio al Cliente;el sr Cardozo , que trabaja como el que más siempre, y con su charla tan agradable;Oscar en la piscinatan atentó y servicial,.Rafael el concierge con sus apreciaciones tan valiosas,;Jesús , Edison y Catalina en Recepcion siempre prestos a atender cada solicitud de la Manera más rápida y efectiva. Diego , el Botones, quien a nuestro inicio nos ofreció su consejo y ayuda .Un equipo de trabajo en general con un pequeño detalle siempre, una sonrisa amable , a pesar del Tapabocas,todo como siempre inigualable. Hemos venido al santaclara desde hace tal vez 18 años y seguiremos viniendo siempre y hoy nos iremos con ganas de regresar pronto.

From the moment of check in it has been a wonderful experience. We got a beautiful room upgrade as well. The breakfast buffet was incredible. The butlers Rudy and Ernesto were there for literally everything you could think of! Absolutely incredible!

The hotel and staff was phenomenal in every way! We cannot wait to go back and have already booked our next stay! They were so attentive, the hotel was superb, clean, high end and beautiful. First and foremost this is my first time ever writing a review, so you know this hotel was the best experience ever! Ican go on and on but to summarize quickly, the staff is Amazing! Everyone is dressed professionally and is very tentative to all your needs and concerns. From the hotel itself to all the amenities, it can't get any better than this. Eat and drink all you want and pay once when checking out. I wouldn't ever stay at any other hotel when I get back or even think about another hotel after this Amazing experience. This hotel achieved an award as being one of the top hotels in the world and now I see why. The staff, food, facility, ambience, amenities, professionalism and especially the best concierge Rafael Perez!!! Made our stay and exploring experience absolutely the most exciting/amazing vacation we ever experienced. Rafael did all the research and bookings for the most memorable excursions satisfying our desires. The hotel itself was enough, but Rafael put the icing on the cake!! I don't know how you were able to satisfy us and the others, but you are appreciated and you truly made a difference! To sum up my experience, if there isn't availability there, I will just wait until there is!

My husband and I married at the Santa Clara four years ago. It was truly marvelous and our family/friends continue to talk about it with such joy and fondness! We return to the Santa Clara every year because everything about this hotel is so special. The beauty of its Republican architecture, the serene interior patio (where you can have a delightful/scrumptious breakfast or lovely cocktails), it’s rich history dating back to the 1620s which is present everywhere you look. The rooms are spectacular and the suites are divine with an immaculate attention to detail. This is our special place and will always be.We always appreciate the kindness of all the staff. During our most recent trip, Alex Vivas, the pool manager, who has worked here for 22 years, interacted with us in a way that made him feel like a friend. He was gracious and always so attentive. His smile, laugh, and drink advice were refreshing. We look forward to seeing him, again!

Property is beautiful and impeccably maintained. Service and hospitality was a true 5 star, from the front desk to the restaurant, everyone ensues you're well taken care of and attentive to every need. Food was delicious, especially the pastries and breads. I'm certain they have a French pastry chef, it was that good!! Will definitely come back!!

One of the best hotel in Cartagena, and one with excellent service too. Book a deluxe room or Junior republic suite. The best room in Deluxe category is 503 and 504. Food is excellent. The ambience in Jardin is impeccable. Shout out to Miguel. He’s always very attentive, friendly, and professional. Please ask him to be your server.

Loving our stay so far. Such character. Service has been awesome. Just had lunch at Jardin. Great ambience sitting outside in the courtyard. We were served by Miguel who was awesome. He brought a fan which was of huge help. We had the short ribs which were to die for. Highly recommend it.

There are not enough words to describe how awesome this place is. Wonderful staff. Everyone is super attentive. The place is upper class, smells delicious and they have the best bathtubs and showers! I had a 1 day pass being a recent local... like $150 usd for a 90 min message and a manicure. I enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, bar and awesome massages. I can't wait to come back!

My wife and I have been to Cartagena many times. We have always loved the city. This is the best hotel we have stayed at by far and we always stay in somewhere nice. The service is impeccable, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, especially with COVID-19. The pool in the restaurants are first class. I would highly recommend this place and I’m sad that I have just now found it. Five stars all the way!!
