“This was a fantastic place to stop off for a cup of tea. From the second we spoke to someone on the door, we received first class service in an opulent and interesting hotel. The place is clean, and feel like luxury. When we went we had some English breakfast tea and some peppermint tea. Both were stunningly delicious, and I thought the peppermint tea might well have been the best I’ve ever had, and I tend to drink a lot of nice teas. I would absolutely come back here.”

“My wife and I Stayed from Aug 23 to Aug 27. We were met at the front door by a lovely gentleman in a top hat who took care of our bags. The front desk staff were very welcoming and friendly, the check-in was fast and painless. The restaurant staff was top notch, always pleasant and congenial, The room was smallish as most of the older hotels are, but lovely and very clean. Overall was one of the very best stays that we have had on a hotel. Thank you too everyone who works there for making our stay so wonderful.”
