If I could give negative stars I would. From the front attendant to rooms, everything got worse. I got two rooms for my family. The ceilings in the room felt like they would fall down. Each room only had one towel each and when asked the front attendant she kept saying they don’t have anymore towels and check back in an hour. Come back in 2 hours, towels are in the drier and by that time it was time to check out. The hot water in the bathroom makes a loud noise and stops. Worst hotel experience. I chose this hotel at random on the spur of the moment. I usually do some investigation and checking of reviews before selecting a location. Anyway, I was surprised when I entered the room. First, I was greeted with a very pleasant aroma, not stale or musty. The kitchenette (which I didn’t know was included) had a full sized refrigerator, microwave, stove and very stylish, stocked kitchen cabinets! The bathroom was stocked with Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Soap and towels. It was a roomy bathroom and the room itself was quite roomy with a large window and heavy light blocking curtains. There was a recliner, a dining chair and a rolling desk chair, so plenty of seating. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The rate was very reasonable. I had absolutely no complaints and was very pleasantly surprised and extremely satisfied with my experience at this hotel. I would highly recommend to anyone who is not looking for expensive luxury hotels, but instead value in a nice, quiet, clean, updated, roomy, well-stocked and affordable place to stay. Meets basic needs and I slept well. No housekeeping available during your stay whether you stay 2days or 30days…kitchen has 2 pots/bowls/plates and cutlery for 2persons. No other kitchen items are available.No extra towels or linen only even exchange and you have to dispose of own trash…no accessible entry door. Outside looking in it is your typical 3 star hotel. Upon entering you are welcomed to the land of the living dead. My husband and I have visited Houston near Chinatown for over a year every month. This hotel is close and the rate is fair. The front desk staff was the best. The best we ever experienced anywhere. The rooms were always neat, clean, etc. Now the front desk staff members are rude, the hallways smelled like animal waste and we had to change rooms twice due to appliance issues. As far as what it cost to stay at this hotel I think it's fair. However a business should have staff who are supportive of it's progress and not it's demise. Would I stay again? Yes! Absolutely in hopes that someone who actually is involved with the progress of the property attempts to make changes. Afuera mirando hacia adentro se encuentra el típico hotel de 3 estrellas. Location amazing, but the staffing is unacceptable. Being in the hospitality business means you go above and beyond for the paying customer. Upon my recent stay I experienced the exact opposite. The front desk put emphasis on Not being professional. After being told I was expected to leave even though I paid for a weekend stay, I got in touch with the DOS. She explained to me she was no longer affiliated with that particular property but was so glad I called. After explaining she visited the property earlier that week to meet with staff, she advised me it was better to Not get in touch with the manager as I would get nowhere. Whenever employees are not well trained and professional, usually management is not far behind. She then gave me a number to get in touch with corporate, offered me to stay at one of the properties she was in charge of and apologized on their behalf several times. Ao entrar, você é recebido na terra dos mortos-vivos. Meu marido e eu visitamos Houston perto de Chinatown há mais de um ano todos os meses. Este hotel fica perto e a tarifa é justa. My room was clean, equipped with stove and microwave as well as a big fridge. Bathroom had lots of shampoo, conditioner and body soap. A/C was glorious. I will definitely return.
