Directly on the water of Hokianga Harbour at Omapere the Copthorne Hotel & Resort is a pretty 4-star hotel offering spacious accommodation in a lovely location. This small hotel has just 33 studio-style guest rooms. Rooms are a good size and all have en suite facilities. All of the rooms have a balcony with many of them overlooking the water. The hotel has 2 restaurants for guests to choose from both of which offer a lovely selection of traditional New Zealand cuisine including many seafood specialities. “É uma ótima localização e eu adoro isso, eu fiquei no The Heads Villa, pela segunda vez. Desta vez foi quando os novos proprietários assumiram, e parece que tudo parece antiquado, sem utensílios para usarmos como micro-ondas. O estacionamento é um verdadeiro horror! Outros então que o serviço da população local era 5 estrelas MAS ... há uma verdadeira arrogância e ignorância com os indianos e devido aos padrões do que o hotel costumava ser e comparando-o a agora é um real vergonha que tenha caído muito! Esses caras estão apenas atrás de dinheiro, em vez de serviço e qualidade!”

“This hotel relies solely on its location. It is not offering value for money. We stayed 2 nights. Our room was not serviced. There were no restaurant meals for the Saturday night, but overpriced bar snacks served in polystyrene containers!!! Absolutely horrified! There are not many other options in Opononi. No hot water on morning of departure. Only one staff member actually greeted us pleasantly. I have traveled extensively and this hotel is not up to standard.”
