Front desk slow service and I understand new trainee on desk when we checked in for second time as room was not ready 1st time around. People should be aware it is not polite to stop serving a customer to answer another customer who has already been served and went up to their room but had come back down to reception. The person also should have waited in turn to speak to reception as we awaited you and others.to be served even though our room was not ready and we had come back. Two sachets of coffee in the room both had been used never got anymore or any milk. We went to reception and asked if we could have some sachets of cafe was told maybe tomorrow. Would it have been the same if we needed toilet paper ? Was not going to say anything about the room since only here for 3 days if you get offered this room 706 do not take as hardly any room to move and air con is non exisiting. Breakfast and the staff are very good, cleaning of rooms very good, bar staff very nice. Security also very nice. Lobby lights need a good clean as it's first impressions and it's a nice hotel but lobby lights let it down.

All was good. Breakfast great, staff nice, room ok. But we choosed the hotel because the nice pool (well photographed), and that was like a joke. 60cm deepnes? For us useless, maybe a refreshment for birds?

The hotel was spacious, with decent amenities and variety in the breakfast buffet (included). However, the AC setting was unadjustable and too warm, the room was also unpleasantly odorous at all times.

What made this hotel great were the staff at the reception and the room service. In a great location for public transport giving easy access to the attractions, of which there are many in Barcelona. The rooms were fine, clean and well serviced. A few small inconveniences, a bit of a tight fit to get between bed and a small desk. No aircon available because it wasn't the date to switch it on yet, suitcase stand collapsed and wasn't replaced in 4 days, breakfast was great except for the cooked food which was practically cold and only cold plates were available. Cold plates for "hot" food seems to be common in hotels and restaurants in Spain 😉 However I would stay there again just for for the staff. Many thanks for your help and advice🌹

Rooms are pretty tight. Though the bathroom is quite big so depends on your preference. The most irritating things were that there's no extractor fan and after 1 day they shut the window so we couldn't even let the moisture etc. Pull out that way... There was also no AC (this is April). They said it's winter for them so they don't have it on. I know I really prefer it cool, but why would you turn off the ability to cool a room? Just irritating, as I was quite hot most days. The suitcase stand collapsed on me. I told staff, they said they would tell maintenance but the stand is still as it was... Gym is pretty disappointing. Literally a bench, 3 cardio machines and dumbells up to 14kg, not even a mat or bands or a pulley system. You can sorta do some stuff but it just isn't all that great. At least they had fresh towels and water. Also it's next to the sauna room. So it gets extremely hot. But hey: there's a gym next door! Breakfast was fine. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms always well cleaned. The walls are pretty thin though, so if you have an issue with noise.....
