This is a beautiful property. It was spring break and quite quiet on the beach. The pool is very busy and paying for a reserved space or cabana was the only way to have a place at the pool unless you got down to the pool very early. The Marriott bonvoy elite staff were very nice but it definitely took time to check in. There was one lady in the non elite check in space who seemed to hate her job and everyone who bothered her. The rooms were nice and clean. The bathrooms were clean and the elevators were efficient. The kids enjoyed the scheduled activities. The breakfast was delicious. The restaurant Riva was overpriced as any hotel restaurant is but the food was just okay. For the price of $800-$1000 per night for a basic room for this hotel I would not stay again unless I was using points and it was to specifically be in Fort Lauderdale on the beach and avoiding the spring breakers. The facilities are beautiful and well kept. The breakfast staff were fantastic. The pool server in the reserved space was nice but the service was very slow. We also had no hot water in the shower the morning we left. Not sure what the issue was but for the price per night I would hope to not encounter any issues. We also checked in early (ambassador status) and the Marriott app approved a noon check in but the room was not ready until around 3pm.

Solid hotel for a nice little getaway. They have a delicious lunch spot that you can be served at, at your pool chairs or you can dine there. There’s also a spa if you are looking for a massage and multiple restaurants to eat at. There is also a Starbucks located in the lobby so you can grab a cup of Joe to start the day. The hotel rooms are pretty nice and well maintained. There was a lot of children at the pool so if you’re looking for a quiet romantic getaway not sure if this is the best choice but it’s still a nice spot.

We just spent one night and it was perfection. All the staff members and servers were extremely friendly and nice. The resort itself is beautiful, totally blown away by the beach and pool. I can’t wait to go back sometime for a longer stay!

I had the best experience with the hotel, it's not huge but it has everything you need, a big beach area, a nice pool and the rooms are pretty comfortable. We order room service and the staff was so nice and fast! Loved it! The only thing I'll improve is more healthy food options and vegan.

First time here. Met by a prompt valet, very helpful explained our next step. Our visit at check in had me feeling like a third wheel and didn't care if I was here or not. Had an early check in was at the room by 12, perfect. The room was clean and fresh, great view of the ocean. Went down to the pool and must say the biggest one in the area I have ever seen. Poolside service by Shannon was great, she was attentive to us for the day. Great setup with the bar right there and beach a close walk to. Poolside food was very good. Dinner time at 3030 Restaurant and must say was an 8/10 menu not very much to pick from, like the others in the hotel. Breakfast also 8/10. Overall Hotel and ground's beautiful well kept.

I want to give a huge kudos to Adam at the beach bar. We have stayed at many Marriott properties and we can honestly say that we have received the best service from him so far from all the associates we’ve encountered. His warm and friendly attitude plus his attentiveness to everything is just above and beyond and really exceptional! Thank you so much for everything, Adam! Staff was great. We were there for a sales meeting recently.Every single person that I ran into that worked there was awesome and helpful. We had food served throughout the day and it was exceptional as well. Can't wait to come back there next year!

Beach was amazing,The staff was super helpful and it was great to have reserved chairs.The room was extremely dated and needs to be renovated.We also had to wait until after 5:30 for our room to be ready despite checking in early in the day.I have stayed in many Marriott hotels but this one did not meet the normal standards and service.

Really, really wonderful hotel in sorry I was all the amenities at the ocean. It’s at the end of the strip it’s a beach that is private and we had a fantastic time here. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Lots of food options and the vibe is friendly towards families as well as adults with no children. Staff is incredibly friendly and well trained. You’re going to be well taken care of at this hotel! Views from the balconies are wonderful and the ocean and poolside.

The hotel has great amenities, more than one can expect. It's one of the few hotels in fort Lauderdale placed right on the beach with private access. Resort package is totally worth it, especially for large company style events.I also visited the spa at the hotel and that was magnificent with their own private pools and resting areas with TV on outside benches. You can even order food from outdoors. The sea-side bars and restaurants was something unique and which I haven't seen before.Overall, a great experience for a place that is warm all year round. A great place for a relaxing vacation stay. But as they say, you get what you pay for, so pricing can be hefty and may be only affordable by the elite in our society. Thankfully, my stay was covered by whom I work for. Hope this helps!

The amenities were great, the hotel grounds, pool, beach, etc. Food (breakfast and pool side) were mediocre. The staff at the pool side were great…super friendly and prompt. Beach was great.The beach chairs were included but umbrellas were $20 tax per day. …which surprises me seeing how much they charge per room.Rooms were also mediocre.I requested for daily housekeeping just to find out that the service only included exchanging of towels and bathroom amenities.No cleaning of the entire room or bed making or sweeping!The shower curtain had a weird stench, the corners were not swept, the bathtub doesn’t look like it’s been deep cleaned for a while.I’m sure Covid got something to do with this, but honestly little details like these are important especially for a huge corporation.Have had much better experience at Hyatt.Too bad there wasn’t a Hyatt on a private beach around the area.

This is an absolutely beautiful resort on a private beach in Fort Lauderdale! I took my mom for a relaxing day in the sun 🌞. The service was excellent and the beach was absolutely gorgeous! Caleb was super helpful on the beach 🏖️😆We popped in at HB fresh on the lower level near the gift shop for a yummy treat. The gluten free chocolate chip cookies are awesome! The best I've ever had, in fact! There were a lot of delicious looking items on the menu that I'm looking forward to trying next time! The valet service was wonderful as well! I can't wait to go back 😆.

Great location especially if preposition for a cruise. Great view of either the ocean or harbor. Nice place for a wedding also. Room a little worn.... Back a second time. Very nice room and facilities. $39 mandatory resort fee.

It was excellent because the resort was immaculate. We were greeted in a courteous way. We spent Thanksgiving of 2020 there and the food was absolutely the best I ever had.The antipasto included a delicious sharp cheddar cheese and the shrimp 🍤 was large and fresh. Entree of snapper and turkey both perfectly done. Staff was attentive, friendly and happy. There was a guitarist who played popular soft music, chosen just right. Im proud I went with my family and I thank the Marriott staff for making our Thanksgiving thoroughly enjoyable.

Very nice place and good location. Rooms are very nice. Staff is very friendly. The price for drinks and food is crazy expensive; your better off going into town for better options. I understand the markup but $9 for a Truly and $15 for vodka and soda water is crazy.

Lipstick on a .......... Place needs a major overhaul. Rooms are dated. Way dated. Bathrooms have been renovated. Hallways are dark and dingy. No bellman to help luggage. Front desk was very nice and helpful and recognized my Ambassador status but didn't offer me anything in the way of a room upgrade or the like. Breakfast was nice with really good service. No club room. Pool was packed. No service. Beach was worse. Even the staff complained that they had only 3 people working the entire beach and 2 of those were new. 30 minutes for a drink. Dinner at the formal restaurant was good, not great. Slow service. Casual restaurant by the pool was the best service and food. Location is ok. Miami was the Boardwalk along the ocean. Fort Lauderdale has a sidewalk next to road that gets very busy. Next time I will do the W or a nicer Marriott property. Pass on this property.

This hotel hosted the Safe Streets Summit, a conference whose attendees make transportation policies for the Tri-County area. Guest speakers were internationally known experts in their field. The facilities are exceptional and staff was attentive but unobtrusive. The audiovisual support staff assured that presentations were practically flawless. As a resident of Ft. Lauderdale, I was very proud that this hotel represented itself and my city admirably.

I was here for a work conference. The facility was clean and functional. The food brought in by the facility was excellent. One day a facility employee came by with a dog and his owner, they said they do this to cheer people up because everyone loves dogs. I loved it and so did our group. The room I stayed in was really nice. I have no complaints about this place.

Una experiancia agradable. El hotel y las habitaciones estaban muy limpias. A mi me toco una habitacion con dos camas queen bastante grande. Aunque no tenia vista directamente al mar (sino que solo de un lado, pero con vista directamente a la piscina), la vista ha sido agradable. El check-in ha sido muy rapido, lo que se agradece mucho sobre todo despues de un vuelo de casi 10 horas. Para la salida, hay check-out express, solo tienes que dejar las tarjetas de las habitaciones en un buzon y ya esta! El personal del bar y del restaurante un poco lento, pero por lo menos agradables. No puedo beber alcohol y tampoco me gustan los refrescos, por lo cual pedia cerveza sin alcohol. En los 5 dias que he estado, solo en dos ocasiones he podido tomar cerveza sin alcohol porque no les quedaba!!! La comida rica y bien elaborada. Per total ha sido una experiencia muy agradable :)

This place has really deteriorated over the last year. Stayed with my daughter a year ago, everyone there was nice, accommodating, helpful and generous. I came again with my daughter, and honestly, I think a lot of people who work here could use customer service skills when speaking with guests. I’m paying good money to stay here, I expect to be spoken to with the same respect I give. You’re in a suit, not board shorts and flip flops. When I come to you with an issue, pretend to want to be helpful even if there isn’t anything you can do. Don’t tell me you can’t fix an issue I have because you just don’t want to, causing me to go above you to get the issue corrected. When I ask for information, give it to me, don’t say it doesn’t exist when it does, especially if I have a “titanium” status with your hotel chain. I will not be going back.

The best thing we liked about this hotel was the location. It is located ocean side so you do not have to cross the street to access the ocean. It is just out of the high traffic area, but still a great location to dining and shopping. The staff was less friendly and helpful than other hotels visited, the room decor was outdated, the lower lobby's room leaked (pouring in) in multiple places during rain, the services for beach accommodations was poorly organized.
