This is an elegant, grand, historic hotel with an incomparable garden and pool area. It is the ultimate in relaxation and beauty. The staff are wonderful—incredibly attentive and personable. A special thank you to Sarah who is so knowledgeable and helpful and went out of her way to provide exceptional service. Don’t miss the delicious buffet breakfast that includes a wide variety of selections.”

“I had the worst time of my vacation in this place. I booked a room with balcony and garden view in the Pavillon Winter but because of Corona they "upgraded" me into the main building.What I got was a room (no. 358) with view onto a facility building with loud vents on its roof. Because the windows are older than the Pharaos they have no noise reduction. I always woke up in the middle of the night because of that.After complaining they gave me room no. 329. There I can hear the street noise all the night. In both rooms the carpets are dirty and chairs have stints on them.Both rooms had no balcony.Positive to mention is the nice staff, the pool and garden and the breakfast.”
