“My family stayed at the Wellington Mews for 3 weeks in August 2020 as medical tourists. The apartments are in terrible condition and the appliances/air-conditioning/bathroom fittings/woodwork/plumbing are practically falling apart. There was continuous drilling noise to make matters worse. We paid for the high speed internet but my phone data was faster than the wifi. It feels like a 3* airport hotel at best. The food at the cafe is terrible and we were served a pastry with mould in it.
The management treated us absolutely atrociously after a false positive covid incident and instead of being humane and helpful, kept my elderly (post surgery) father in a car parked outside for 7 hours and we were given excuses and lies. They didn't even extend an apology after such poor handling of the situation, until we asked for one. The GM is always absent and avoids all confrontation when a situation arises.
Overall, you pay top dollar for the worst hotel experience.”
