I was here for a conference with my company. I will say that service for the conference was nice. The staff were all friendly and helpful but when it came to the quality of the room I was 100% disappointed! Upon check in the room smelled like a wet dog and they were human hairs in the bathtub. I notified the front desk three hours later the head of housekeeping who said she had been employed two days arrived. However, nothing was done to improve the odor in the room, other than turning the AC down to 62, so when I returned to my room, it was freezing and stinky. The hairs that were in the bathtub were simply moved to the edge not even fully wiped out. There was dirt in the closet, floor and indications of animal urine on the bathroom door. The beds covers were stained and the comfort was what I would expect to find in a motel six not only were they uncomfortable the were stinky. The pillow all had that old pillow smell. Needless to say, I got very little sleep while I was there. They were no robes as advertised there was no aromatherapy. Leftover glasses and dishes were outside peoples doors in the hallways for at least two days. My room was attended once during my entire three days. I mentioned it to the front desk a second time and got Zero results. No information was given at check in regarding any of the amenities how to find them hours, and so forth. There was nothing in the room with the exception of a brochure highlighting all of the amenities I was not seeing. This hotel is in need of remodeling. It has an overall dirty feeling. I noticed in the morning coming down for a run in the lobby. Empty drink glasses were sitting around everywhere from the night before.

Decent place to stay that’s half an hour from the strip. Other reviews say it’s two blocks from the strip which is incorrect! It takes about 30 min to get to the stop and 30 min to downtown/Fremont street. The hotel rooms are nice, the suites aren’t worth it. Just a bit bigger than an average room. They do come with water which is nice. You can order snacks with the room service, but it’s probably cheaper and better to go to a gas station that’s 8sh min away. Most people here are using points.

Beautiful location and property, great multi level lobby facing the lake with its own lagoon feeding from the lake. Rick's Cafe had great quick food for lunch. Chicken wings were really good for a hotel restaurant. The rooms are very nice and clean. The hotel and bar/restaurant staff were really nice and had great customer service skills. The valet man who helped us was very cool and even held hotel door open for us. Can be pricey to stay here, but if you can get a deal or use points, it is worth it.

The lobby is very impressive when you walk in, but after that don’t get your hopes up. -The rate seems reasonable but you’ll have a resort fee per day without any service or activities. -Our room was decently clean but was not cleaned or restocked in between days. -I tried to call ahead to ask for connecting rooms but they didn’t answer the phone. -When we got there and asked for connecting rooms they didn’t have any that were available cleaned and ready. But the hotel felt like a ghost town. -August is off season so it not being busy was nice, but it’s a destination location but nothing to do. I’m surprised that there are good reviews. -Don’t expect that because it’s a Marriott hotel you will have Marriott pillows. The pillows were awful. -The pool was pretty great. But the lounger pads are so gross and stained. -The fitness center has not been vacuumed in forever and the water dispenser had a yellow mold. I would not recommend.

We have stayed at the Westin Lake Las Vegas twice. The property is beautiful and pool and surrounding area breathtaking. Pricing is very reasonable and it is so close to Las Vegas, however, away from the hustle and bustle. The reason for the three rating is our most recent stay. Staff was super friendly and all was enjoyable. The reason for my three rating a cabana charge we were not told about in advance and the oh so difficult process about getting it resolved. It was simply unbelievable. We called two months in advance to book a cabana, asking about a charge for it we were told free - Showing up after TWO hours into the day, we get a bill for $250. Talking to the front desk supervisor at end of the day, she was absolutely horrible to deal with. She could do nothing to help and refused to provide their general managers contact info, only the assistant email. Days later, I got it squared away and they said it would be refunded... Two months later and it has not been. Horrible experience with personnel, however, very beautiful resort.
