“We had a great stay here from July 5 - July 10. The hotel itself was great. Our room was large and everything was clean when we arrived. My only complaint was the bed - the mattress really did a number on our backs. We added extra stretching to our routine to compensate. Service was great until the last day (more on that later). You have to request having your room made up due to covid which is somewhat understandable. We were able to approach the staff when they were servicing other rooms in our hallway to ask for some coffee pods for the machine in the room. The only issue we had was on the day of check out - we booked a courtesy shuttle to the airport. When we got to the lobby, we were told it was not available. The manager ordered us a taxi instead, which was appreciated. The location is great for access to airport, downtown, zoo, etc. And there was lots to do in Little Italy which was easy to walk to. There are signs of people experiencing homelessness, but I feel that's common in most downtown locations. The folks we encountered were nice and weren't even panhandling. Thanks for a great stay. We would likely stay again, especially if the mattresses are updated.”

“I had to change my review score because I left a jacket behind and called the next day but they refused to look for it because it was after 5pm. I called again the next day and they said they would call back but didn't. Then 4 days later I called again and they did call me back but then said "we couldn't find a sweater matching what you described" when I clearly said Jacket every time. I also failed to mention that we were in two different rooms, in both rooms the shower draining was so slow that you would be standing in a large puddle of water by the time you finished. Additionally, the hot water didn't work in the sink of the second room and the shower constantly had air (I'm guessing) in the pipes that would rattle whenever you used it. Plus the room had a layer of dust on any surface above eye level and the sink had black grime in it. Everyone was friendly and room service was prompt. The location was too far from the pier for my needs, didn't go to the zoo, too far from laundry services. I'm a long term stay because of my work so this hotel isn't great for that but it's also not the worst. The bar tenders are good people and the restaurant staff is also pretty great, the food is hit or miss, but only the salad has parts I didn't want to eat. The balcony is wonderful, but be careful to not fall off, not great for little kids, there are rooms without balconies. The hot tub was in use almost the entire time I was there so I'm assuming it's pretty nice, it's outside so that's pretty cool. I wouldn't stay here for work again, the two rooms I stayed in both had problems with the shower draining. But it would be fine for a few days of vacation and the most affordable place I came across with a balcony. It was nice they provided water, But awful that it's all in plastic bottles, feels very anti-environment.”
