It was very busy at check in. We came from a cruise so it was expected. We waited a long time but were upgraded. Kathleen at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms seem a little outdated but nice. We were in a suite on a high floor. Only complaint is when we went to our floor a worker rudely asked if we had a room on that floor like we shouldn't be up there. Made me feel less superior or something.

Good place to stay. Also, good for small events. Rooms are nice and spacious. Bathroom are clean but low ventilation causes moisture to buildup and drip down after showers. Excellent breakfast. Staff was very nice. Beaches are close. A number of places to shop and eat are within walking distance. Biggest issue is the $20 a day parking fee.

I'll start with the good things. The front staff were professional, nice, and accommodating. The bed was fairly comfortable. Also, the atrium has a certain old-hotel charm to it. Unfortunately, there are numerous bad things too. The room I was in was extremely outdated and felt dingy - think light switches and carpets that haven't been cleaned in years. There were two TV's, but neither worked. Though the room itself was large, the bathroom was exceedingly small. Both the sink and the shower splashed water so much that the floor stayed wet. The toilet didn't flush well. Though the room seemed set up for 6 people, we were only given 2 towels - one of which I used on the constantly wet floor. We had the room "cleaned", but it looked like it had barely been touched. The bottom line is that this hotel is way overpriced for its condition.

Check in was easy and gentleman was super nice and helpful. We got in at like 2/230 am. Valet was also very nice and extremely helpful. Room was only a little outdated, and really just the bathroom, nothing else, but I am a nostalgic person so I liked it. They could have done it on purpose to be retro. It was comfortable. Beds comfortable. Sheets and blankets comfortable. Clean. Bathroom clean. Everyone was great. From checking in to valet to getting more towels from housekeeping in passing to getting another key to breakfast, awesome experience. Location was convenient to a lot of stores and restaurants within very close walking distance, as well as a dispensary for medical patients. Even for someone who struggles to walk far right now. Everything you need is extremely close. If I had a car with me it would be even better, but it helps with not having one with me to be able to walk where I need to.

The location is great! The beach is nearby and the shopping plaza is within walking distance. When you're checked in you receive tickets for happy hour no charge which was a plus, but only for a selected order of alcohol. The breakfast selection was good. Omelet with what you would like to add to it. Bacon, turkey patties, sausages, oatmeal, pancakes, grits, French toast, bagels, toast white or wheat, fresh fruits, cereal, coffee, tea, orange, cranberry juice etc... The rooms needs to be renovated but they do have a microwave and fridge. The beds were uncomfortable definitely needs new mattresses. For a room cleaning it has to be booked the day before and the room were not cleaned properly. The pool area is beautiful, but iguanas are everywhere and they are HUGE! I rate my experience ⭐⭐⭐ only because the hotel needs renovations and for the GIANT IGUANAS. I would not stay there again.

Localizaçao fantastica ( perto do Porto, restaurantese lojas) . Com tranfer para o portocom preço justo e comodidade de ser deixado no embarque . Staff delicadissimo e prestativo que de forma profissional mas com sensibilidade fez o early chek in entendendo o nosso cansaço apos mais de 10 hs de voo. Ser filiado ao hiltonnos faz muito felizes e as suites embassy sao nossas favoritas. O happy hour para quem chega cansado é um agrado delicioso e o hummus e o vinho de Napa Valley sempre é bem vindo .

Simply said - everything was great! My family of four (10 year and 6 year old) had an amazing 4 night stay. Every staff member from receptionists to bartenders to maids were very pleasant and helpful. The pool was well maintained. The restaurant was perfect for a light meal. The complimentary breakfast had a variety of options, and while it did get busy at times, the staff was always working hard to keep lines moving and cleaning tables off. My kids loved the classic "Embassy feel" of the open atrium and glass elevators. The rooms were a little outdated (namely the bathrooms - straight out of 1970 :), but everything worked fine and was clean. For us to be there 5 days and not have a single issue! Highly recommend!

Loved the area.The room was dated and not clean. The vanity cabinet was filthy.. We paid for 1 hr late check out. The cleaning service was knocking on out door at 12:20 asking if we were leaving. I had to tell her we paid until 1:00. Let’s talk about 6 ft apart. We were in an elevator with another couple and 1 worker. The door opened and the worker invited 3 workers to jump in.The other couple walked off and said too many people. Why don’t the workers have their own elevator?This happened twice!One lady was vacuuming the elevator door and didn’t care that we were standing there to get on. That staff needs a lot of training. Very impolite to customers. The rooms need to be cleaned better.Seriously when you sat in the toilet and the vanity in you direct eye sight it looked like it wasn’t cleaned for years.

Rooms are large and comfortable. Building is showing age however the interior has been kept nice. Breakfast is great and recommended getting down there around 7am to beat the crowds. Breakfast is from 6am-9am. The pool area is a nice oasis offering shade at different parts of the day. There is a hot tub just off the main pool. The "E Spot" bar/restaurant downstairs next to the pool area has good food however it is the friendly staff that makes this spot worth your while. My only complaint with this hotel is just the location. It can be quite hard to get into the location from the busy strip. Hope you found this helpful, I will definitely be back!

We stayed 2 nights this past weekend. It was a very busy hotel due to a cruise ship leaving the next day but I was very impressed with how well the breakfast staff handled this large amount of people. Yes there was a line but the folks working it were moving as fast as humanly possible and everything was very good except maybe the scrambled eggs, reconstituted with too much water. Our room was spacious and I would say the staff did as good as they could with such a large property and shortages due to Covid.Anthony, the manager went above and beyond to make sure things were right and he even found a lost bag we had left when we checked out, he kept it safe until we could return to claim it.There was a camera in the bag with wedding pictures on it so we were thrilled when he had it there safe for us. He really cares about his staff and his hotel. Thanks for making our stay so good!

We wanted a vacation near the beach. Past stays at various Embassy Suites have sold us on the added value of the suite room layouts and especially the buffet breakfast. Numerous bad reviews about room quality gave me pause, but in the end I booked the rooms, and I'm glad I did. We liked our room a lot. My wife is SUPER picky about bathroom quality, and she had no complaints. No evidence of mold or mildew anywhere. Maybe we got lucky, I don't know. The staff was caring and attentive (not a given these days!), and all our needs were met. Here's what did suck though. The first morning at our hotel we went outside to head to the beach only to find that our car (+ 6 others all in a row) had been vandalized! That was a pretty awful way to start a vacation. The staff helped clean up things, which I was grateful for, but still. I know it wasn't the hotel's fault, and it could have happened to anybody at any hotel. But still. My final take is this: I would recommend staying here. I would be happy to stay there again. Just make sure you park your car in the middle of the lot, under the brightest lot lights, and not in a darker place by the street.

Amazing hotel. The staff is sooooo nice and courteous. Breakfast and the Managers cocktail get-together were fun. The pool was great, our kids loved the waterfall. The rooms are spacious!!! This hotel has a lot to offer!!!! I travel with work and this was a long weekend getaway for our family and we loved it. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to South Florida!!!!!

Stayed there many times before, have to say it was not up to its normal standard this time. Rooms weren't restocked between guests and when we called about it we were told if we wanted stuff we had to come down to main lobby for it. Also the guess extras weren't as good as before, they got cheaper. That being said the people were still nice and helpful. If hotel is going to cut back on service it should reflect in the price, not 250.00 + a night.

The building may be showing some age, which kind of adds to the character. The rooms are quite large, the building is very quiet, the staff and the breakfast were both awesome. I wish they had vacuumed and shampooed the carpet, my white socks had turned black from walking around in my room, when my wife and I got to our room we were met by a foul smell, like old urine. That was a shame because everything else was really good. I hope someone views this as constructive, I would stay here again if the carpet is cleaned.

Rara vez califico con 5 estrellas. Pero esta vez se lo merece. Hermoso lugar, con una atención muy amable. Patio interno hermoso con cascadas y plantas para relajarse, habitaciones grandes y cómodas. Todo extremadamente limpio. El desayuno (incluido) es realmente abundante y variado. Lamentablemente me quedé poco tiempo pero realmente lo recomiendo.

El concepto de construccion esta bonito pero las habitaciones estan en mal estado,los bañis estan falta de mantenimiento,los muebles y espejos estan mal cuidados y obsoletos,las alfombras de las habitacio estan mal olientes, y manchadas un olor tan fuerte que tuvimos que echar spray de olor,pensabamos pasar mas tiempo y nos fuimos al dia siguiente, MUY MAL MANTENIMIENTO

Hoy llegamos al hotel, es hermoso por fuera, imponente el edificio; pero cuando ingresas nadie se entera, no te ayudan, nadie se encarga de ti, no hay con quien hablar.me acerque a la recepcion y una seÑora mayor no hizo mayor esfuerzo ni por entender mi espaÑol ni porque yo la entendiera, finamente indico que no encontraba mi reserva y siguio atendiendo a otra persona. fue terrible el mal servicio. encontre una persona que medio hablaba el espaÑol, no muy amable pero ella si encontro mi reserva y estoy aqui.pero la verdad, hoteles los hay mejores precisamente por la atencion y el servicio, y este no es precisamente de esos.

Quede fascinado con este hotel. Desde el servicio y las facilidades fueron excelentes. Cabe mencionar que las habitaciones necesitan upgrade pero el encargado de front desk nos information que debido a la pandemia no pudieron realizar dichos cambios. Aún así así lugar es preciso y tiene esa magia tropical. Definitivo que volvemos.

Property is beautiful, rooms were spacious but needs to be updated. The outdated rooms and Hispanic lady at the bar made this a 4 star review. Her customer service was extremely rude. I was asked "what do I want" several times. She made remarks after every order as if inwas a bother to her and not just to me but several other residents as well. She does not need to be working in a place where top notch customer service is expected and required. I can tell she may be overwhelmed as she was alone majority of the day, but that doesn't discredit the fact that she was rude as hell. On another note. KATHLEEN at the front desk was amazing! She deserved 5 stars all by herself. She answered every question with patience and was very helpful with anything I needed! She made up for the rude lady at the bar and the outdated room. I would stay here again, but when the price is cheaper then I could understand that outdated rooms.

Everyone working here went above and beyond for their guests. The staff works non stop and you can tell by the cleanliness of the hotel. Really nice older well kept hotel. Has a beautiful pool area and waterfall in the lobby area. They offer a complete hot breakfast including eggs, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, cereal, bagels, croissant, fruit, etc. The rooms have a bedroom with separate living room, pull out sofa, mini fridge, desk and TV. The rooms are sanitized, mandatory masks and social distancing. Beach is 8min away, a lot of restaurants & stores walking distance. things I didn't like...I was able to check in one of my rooms early at 3- great, friendly concierge. We had another room I went twice to check and wasn't ready until 6pm. The lady was rude, short, she didn't apologize. She went to the back room to get something and didn't even say excuse me or I'll be right back. There were other upset people after 930pm that still didn't have their rooms ready, crazy. Our room needed more detailed cleaning, we found nail clipping in the bathroom and hair. There were trash bags piled in the corner in the hallways. While the breakfast was great the last day we went later and they had run out of some of the food not to mention the long lines to get breakfast. I'm sure all of these things are pandemic issues but still need to be addressed.

Was there all week for a work conference. The hotel is beautiful inside with running streams and bridges to cross over. There's plenty of colorful trees! It was a fun atmosphere to have when not in the conference room! But don't bother ordering any food. I got a $17.00 Cheeseburger and it was cold and undercooked. My co-workers got salads and other sandwiches. Seemed everyone had the same opinion. Horrible. But the hotel is very nice and located right by plenty of restaurants and bars. Plus it's like 7 minutes from Ft Lauderdale Beach. Enjoy!!

Excelente hotel para pasar un buen rato en Fort Lauderdale. Muy lindo con desayuno y happy hour incluido, cosa que pocos hoteles tienen disponibles. Precios accesibles y muy buena ubicacion cercana al puerto, el aeropuerto, las playas y el centro de la ciudad. Le bajo una estrella por sus habitaciones que si bien son muy comodas, son muy antiguas y con poco mantenimiento.
