“Terrible experience!! I was very disappointed with this hotel. The rooms were super small. Dingy sheets, super small beds. It looked like someone had attempted to break into the room. The door wouldn't close shut so each time we had to make sure it was closed completely. There was only one small elevator working. We were told there was a penthouse restaurant. Um, no! There was a rooftop, outside seating that had a place that sold bar food. It was too dark to even see what you were eating. It gets better. While we were waiting outside the valet/security got into an argument with a city worker over some cones that he accused the hotel of stealing. We thought a fight was going to break out. This made me very uncomfortable. Let's say I will never ever stay at this hotel again!! I would give 0 stars if I could!!”

“Lovely restored hotel. Valet parking attendant was quick and polite, front desk helpful and friendly. Our room is wonderful, top floor corner room with excellent views of downtown. Rooftop bar is pleasant. Walking distance to so much culture, from the library to Disney music hall to Central Market, California Plaza and Angel Flight funicular.”
