Honestly, I’m very surprised by the negative reviews.The Westin Cozumel is one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at.A very beautiful beach that is great for snorkeling.The hotel was in great condition and very clean, the servers were extremely amiable, the food was fantastic, and wifi faster than I’ve had anywhere on the island (not that we were using it a lot, I just saw other ridiculous reviews about this).We were only there for a one night stay and chose to splurge on all inclusive.I’m always hesitant of all inclusive options because often times the food is sub par and drinks watered down. This was not the case. 10/10 on the food, 10/10 on the drinks, 10/10 on the service.We had Marco and Javier beachside and they were beyond courteous, hard working, and professional.Carlos was our server for dinner, and went above and beyond with his service.The hotel staff was very accommodating and professional on requests that we made.We were very appreciative of the fact we could take the Covid tests to get back to the states at the hotel. Very easy to setup (costamed website) (arrive in the lobby early to put your name in with hotel staff—first come, first serve). It was 31 USD for antigen, and we had our results later that afternoon.Thanks to all at the Westin for making our short stay so lovely.Please take the negative reviews with a grain of salt.

1. Ant infestation in our room, in the bathroom, on the walls, on the drawers, everywhere. We complained the first minute we checked in and saw so many ants but no one addressed it the entire time we were there. 2. Gnats swarming the bar areas - we could not even sit to finish a drink because it was so bad and these bite. 3. Food was of terrible quality. Especially for a Westin. We were going to do the all inclusive option but after one breakfast we decided not to. 4. We upgraded our room to an oceanfront, swim out and that was a joke. The swim out was a bath tub. Also complained about this and nothing was done. 5. Our keys were disconnected the last day even though we requested and was approved for a late check out. Please avoid this property at all costs. It was such a terrible stay that we did not spend any time on property which is really sad and also blew our budget because of how much we had to spend in town and on taxis.

Facility was nice (mostly the beds and shampoo) but the staff (not including two evening bartenders) and customer service was terrible. Did not feel welcomed since the moment we checked in. We were given a note on our door at 9pm for being too loud when I am on vacation with my mom and we had a small disagreement over a card game on the balcony after a drink or two. Pricing for food is not comparable to quality. We checked out 5 days early and moved reservations. Staff promised us to have a refund for the 5 nights we did not stay if we paid a small penalty. Now after we have moved locations they retracted their statement and is charging us in full.

Eu não voltaria aqui. Este hotel parece que tenta ser premium, mas só tinha dinheiro para desenvolver o edifício e depois ficou sem dinheiro para nada de bom. O hotel sofre de enormes problemas de umidade nos quartos (especialmente aqueles sem varanda). O cheiro é horrível e todas as suas roupas armazenadas no quarto ficarão molhadas depois de algumas horas, e o mesmo para os lençóis. Absolutamente louco e impossível conseguir um sono confortável. Você literalmente sente que está dormindo entre cobertores molhados. A equipe do hotel está bem ciente dos problemas, mas nega. A comida e as bebidas do hotel são de baixa qualidade por preços premium, é apenas uma imitação. Sou grato por não termos escolhido a opção com tudo incluído e fomos buscar comida no centro da cidade ou em outro lugar pagando 1/3 dos preços por comidas e bebidas MUITO mais saborosas. Além disso, você encontrará seu dia/noite muito mais divertido em outros lugares. A única coisa boa sobre o hotel são a praia privada, grande clareza da água do mar e piscina.

Worst experience ever! bad service, poor food quality and rude waiters. since the check every member from the staff has been rude to me and my family. we paid for 4 rooms all inclusive and it has been a waste of money. don’t stay here, definitely not marriot chain quality.

I would not come back here. This hotel feels like it tries to be premium but only had money to develop the building and then ran out of cash for anything good. The hotel suffers from huge humidity issues in the rooms (especially those without balconies). The smell is just horrible and all your clothes stored in the room will feel wet after a couple hours, and same for the bed sheets. Absolutely nuts and impossible to get a comfortable sleep. You literally feel like you’re sleeping between wet blankets. The hotel staff is well aware of the issues but denying. The food and drinks in the hotel are low quality for premium prices, it’s just a ripoff. I’m thankful we didn’t take the all inclusive option and went for food to the city centre or elsewhere paying 1/3 of the prices for WAY tastier food and drinks. Additionally you’ll find your day/evening much more entertaining in other places. Only good thing about the hotel are the private beach, great sea water clarity, and pool.

Não há necessidade de ir a nenhum outro lugar ao se hospedar neste hotel privativo à beira-mar. Eles têm dois restaurantes, um dos quais fica na água, e uma lanchonete à beira da piscina. Eles também oferecem serviço de quarto 24 horas. Você pode verificar o equipamento de mergulho e alugar outros "brinquedos" aquáticos. Existe até um carro / Jeep / etc. alugado dentro do hotel se você quiser explorar a ilha. Nós apreciamos a nossa banheira de hidromassagem com vista para a praia.Eles contrataram um grupo para vir todas as manhãs e fazer os testes da Covid por uma taxa razoável (30 dólares), que precisávamos ter de voar para casa.Uma desvantagem para mim foi que os corredores são abertos com piso de concreto. Isso fez com que o ruído tarde da noite ou no início da manhã ecoasse pelo corredor e viajasse direto para o seu quarto.

Este hotel era um pedaço do céu. Eu tentei olhar bem de perto os hotéis em Cozumel porque eu nunca tinha ficado lá. Não achei que as fotos desse lugar realmente fizessem justiça. Quando o sol se põe e o hotel se ilumina, este lugar é absolutamente lindo. O restaurante fica em bares que servem boa comida e bebidas e você não pode bater ter uma piscina de água doce com serviço de cabana próximo à praia particular. Há um píer que vai para o oceano que é o lugar perfeito para pular e mergulhar. Eles alugam equipamentos para mergulho com snorkel gratuitamente para os hóspedes do hotel, o que foi incrível. Eles também têm alguns caiaques de topo e a possibilidade de alugar algumas outras aventuras ali mesmo na praia. Eu amo esse hotel. Nós temos um dos quartos que tinha uma banheira de hidromassagem na varanda. Sentado na banheira e comendo serviço de quarto com uma vista deslumbrante do oceano foi incrível.

No need to go anywhere else when staying at this private beach-side hotel. They have two restaurants, one of which sits on the water, and a poolside snack bar. They also offer room service pretty much around the clock. You can check out snorkeling gear and rent out other water "toys". There is even a car/Jeep/etc. rental place inside the hotel if you want to go explore the island. We enjoyed our balcony hot tub looking out over the beach.They have contracted with a group to come in each morning and do Covid tests for a reasonable fee (30 USD), which we were required to have to fly home.One downside for me was that the hallways are open with concrete floors. This made it so that noise late at night or early in the morning echoes off the corridor and travels right into your room.

This hotel was a slice of heaven. I tried to look very closely at the hotels on Cozumel because I had never stayed there. I didn't feel like the photos of this place really did it justice. When the sun goes down and the hotel lights up, this place is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was in bars serve great food and drinks and you can't beat having a freshwater pool with Cabana service next to the private beach. There is a pier that goes out into the ocean that is the perfect place to jump off of and snorkel. They rent snorkel equipment for free for hotel guests which was awesome. They also have some sit on top kayaks and the ability to rent some other adventures right there at the beach. I love this hotel. We got one of the rooms that had a jetted tub on the balcony. Sitting in the tub and eating room service with a gorgeous view of the ocean was amazing.

Un buen hotel, con una playa espectacular, las habitaciones son cómodas. Solo el ruido de los baños al jalar la palanca, es un poco molesto porque suena de todos los baños muy fuerte. El buffett esta lindo, no es tan variado, no es tan rico pero se ve lindo. Servicio a cuarto, muy tardado. El restaurante esta precioso, con unas vistas preciosas.

Muy padre el hotel y la estancia. La comida está bien, pero no es espectacular, sin embargo es cara. El servicio es bueno, pero tiene áreas de oportunidad. Las habitaciones muy bien, amplias, modernas y muy limpias. Los elevadores muy lentos. De los mejores hoteles de cozumel.

Nice hidden jewel in the northern part of Cozumel. Away from the crowded center with it's own small piece of heaven. The small beach is big enough for swimming, snookering and kayaking. The Staff are very friendly, answering all the questions we had. The all inclusive option was a great deal with all the food and drinks we could enjoy. There is a kids club room which you family can drop kids off so parents can enjoy some adventures.

La comida es muy muy rica, el paquete todo incluido conviene mucho, las habitaciones son cómodas, algunos muebles están un poco descuidados, pero en general es cómoda. Tuvimos ciertos problemas con el baño y la regadera pero hasta que agotaron sus opciones nos cambiaron de habitación, el personal de recepción es un poco grosero en ocasiones. El personal de limpieza y los meseros son muy amables y serviciales. La vista a la playa es increíble y hacer snorkel es muy recomendable, la ubicación del hotel también es buena si te gustan los lugares no concurridos y lejos de dónde está todo el relajo.
