“Mixed experience. The bed was comfortable, and the staff was nice. Breakfast at Cafe Cuvee was good. But there were several issues with the hotel. First, the ridiculous barn door on the bathroom does not actually close (there's a gap of at least an inch on each side), so there's no privacy. Absurd! Even cheap hotels (and this hotel is not cheap) have functioning bathroom doors. Second, there were empty soda cans from the previous occupant in the mini fridge. Third, the robe in bathroom had a gross stain on the collar. Fourth, we ordered room service, but we waited an hour until we discovered that they forgot our order. The hotel did do the right thing and gave us free food + breakfast to make up for losing our order (and the manager was very apologetic), but it's just another sign that something is going wrong at this hotel.
UPDATE A WEEK LATER: Also, they double charged me. The manager was quick to fix the problem after I called about it, but come on...”

“Check in was a breeze and the front desk personnel were very nice and shared information about the restaurant and bar.
The room was beautiful and had lovely decor. The bed was soft and the tv was easy to use.
The window shutter were nice but didn’t block out all the lights from outside. Maybe next time I’ll bring a night mask to wear.”
