I will begin by saying the hotel was fairly clean and the breakfast was great. It was in a good location near the metro station. The staff was very friendly as well. We were highly disappointed because the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were not very good quality. We spent our 3 day stay sore from the bed. There was also no microwave nor fridge in our room which was kind of ridiculous for the price we paid to stay there. It was nice the staff let us heat up our food downstairs. Overall, I would not stay here again.

The hotel seems to have declined a bit over the past few years. Our bathroom needed several repairs and I had to request a hair dryer which should have already been in the room. The complimentary breakfast was not up to par as it had been on previous visits. Some of the lobby area decor was also no longer there. It was a bit more upscale in appearance on a previous visit. There is simply an overall feeling of cutting back on costs. However, the staff was extremely hospitable and accommodating.

Our family recently stayed at this Hampton Inn and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. All of the staff we interacted with were super nice, especially the staff member who was setting up breakfast each morning. She was a delight to talk to every morning. The hotel location was fantastic and convenient to bus and a metro station that will take you to all the sites. There are many restaurant choices within walking distance. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again next time we visit DC.

We spent three nights in this hotel at the end of July. We enjoyed our stay, and found it to be a good value for its excellent location. The desk staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast area was well run and the food was good. Our rooms were a little on the small side, but this is to be expected for an urban hotel in the middle of the city. We did not drive a car while staying, used Uber and Metro. It was convenient to get out of the car in front of the hotel. Nice, safe-feeling location very close to the White House and convenient to two Metro stations. Very pleased.

Room was clean, bed was very hard and pillows were very flat feathered, probably need updating. Very expensive for a 2 star hotel. Great location! A few blocks from the Whitehouse. Very walkable area and convenient to the Metro. Check your receipt before checking out! We had 5 nights of parking charged at $49 a night and we didn't have a car.

Location, maintenance staff, and breakfast were all 5 stars. My reason for 3 stars - for the cost we paid to stay here for 4 days, not worth it. Our room did not have a microwave or fridge. I called and was told you have to choose 'premium' rooms for that. I've been to less quality hotels and have always received a room with a fridge and microwave. The front desk did have a spare mini fridge we could use and that was brought up right away by maintenance. We also requested a crib - which maintenance also brought up asap. We could not use this crib for my baby. The floor panel of the crib was literally a piece of cardboard broken in half. You would think they have the budget for decent quality. Front desk, I do give 3 stars. I called to receive extra towels and it took one whole day to receive my towels. I called back every hour and it was always a new person who I did not talk to previously. Not the biggest help. They were nice, but again for the price we paid (over $1K) I would have preferred to stay something more elite.

I just spent last week at this motel and was highly impressed! Our room was Very comfortable and Spotless. The Location is Perfect!!! We felt very safe here! Within walking distance and So close to all attractions, metro, restaurants and services. Every morning we enjoyed their full breakfast which was always wonderful with a ton of choices. The front desk staff were very kind, helpful, and friendly. This is probably the nicest experience I've had in years. Thank you for being so Wonderful!!

Una estrella por tan mala experiencia con su recepcionista KIM esta señorita no tiene ni la más mínima idea de atención al Cliente! Mi esposo pidió por teléfono muy atentamente una cafetera ya que la que estaba en la habitación estaba incompleta, literalmente y de muy mala gana Kim le dijo que NO podía mandar nada que bajara a recepción para tomar café del desayuno, mi esposo le comento que estaba en pijama que por favor mandara la cafetera y le dice esta señorita: Vistase y baje por su café 😠 en fin el hotel está limpio y buena ubicación pero que mala experiencia con esta persona de recepción 🤷 mi cuñado Marc Contrerasque es un Diamond member6797 está muy molesto!

Fiquei aqui durante a semana para alguns negócios que tive na cidade. Hotel era muito fácil de encontrar. O interior do hotel foi renovado / atualizado. As portas da frente do hotel exigem a chave eletrônica do hotel para entrar entre 23h e 6h. A equipe foi muito atenciosa, cortês e amigável. O café da manhã de cortesia foi incluído. Os quartos são limpos e confortáveis. Vem com todas as comodidades básicas que você esperaria de um hotel. Um pouco faltando na vista fora do departamento de janela embora. Isso é esperado no centro da cidade. Em suma, uma opção muito acessível, segura, limpa e próxima de todas as atrações locais da cidade.

Stayed here during the week for some business I had in town. Hotel was pretty easy to find. Interior of hotel has been renovated/refreshed. Front doors to the hotel require a hotel key card to enter between 11pm-6am. Staff was pretty attentive, courteous and friendly. Complimentary breakfast was included. Rooms are pretty clean and comfortable. Comes with all the basic amenities you’d expect in a hotel. A little lacking in the view outside the window department though. That’s to be expected in downtown though. All in all, a very affordable option that is safe, clean, and close to all the local attractions in the city.

Great location within a couple of blocks of White House/Lafayette Park. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Only drawback was that the rooms are kind of small (not enough to be a problem), and the big one: No microwave or mini-fridge in room, which is VERY unusual for a Hampton Inn. Regular Hampton Inn travelers should be aware of this. There is a microwave in the lobby marketplace, but not in the rooms.

This is a wonderful place to stay right near the monuments, the white house and very close to the national mall. The hotel was very clean and the rooms seemed like they were recently updated. Staying at Hampton Inn, you always get consistency with quality and this place was no different and had the added bonus of having the friendliest staff I've ever experienced at a hotel. Staff is extremely helpful and the breakfast every morning was excellent with a great variety of options. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice clean hotel with a friendly staff.Hotel is within walking distance of the White House, Washington Memorial and other national monuments.Valet parking has in and out privileges.The hotel does have a free tastybreakfast.The only con is that the hotel does not have a refrigerator or a microwave oven in the room.There is a microwave oven near the reservation booth.

We've stayed at several hotels in DC the past few years but found none better than this Hampton Inn. The GM ensures guests are all taken care of very well as does the rest of the great crew working at this Hampton Inn Hotel, part of Hilton. From the easy and carefully parked valet service they offer to the fine breakfast and front desk, Matt, the GM has a great cast to go along with his great concern he always has for all guests. We highly recommend this Hampton Inn on H Street in downtown DC for your next stay, business or pleasure.

The front desk staff was amazing. The room was comfortable. I did have trouble with my digital key and then with my plastic key card as well. But the front desk was super responsive. The valet service was wonderful as well. I look forward to visiting again when they have the full breakfast spread available. The COVID protocols were great. And the location could not be beat! We were walking distance to EVERYTHING.
