“One star for location - it's convenient for exploring the museums and monuments, a lot of restaurants around too. One star for the staff - welcoming and attentive. One star for grand foyer - especially nice on gloomy days. Rooms need to be updated. And bedding too. FYI - the reasonable parking is across the street in City Center underground parking garage (entrance is on the 9th street).”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington! No issues with the room, great location close restaurants, two metro stations, and easily walkable to all the museums and monuments! The service is what makes this hotel so great though! Sam helped us when we checked in and she was so friendly and nice!! She answered all our questions! At the end of the stay, Connie was also super awesome and remade my key to make sure it would work until 2pm for checkout. Thanks Sam and Connie for being so amazing! Highly recommend staying here!”
